Activated Charcoal Scavenger

This canister is filled with activated charcoal to absorb inhalational agents (halothane, isoflurane, sevoflurane) from an anaesthetic machine. The activated charcoal can absorb approximately 400g of anaesthetic agent per kg. This canister is filled with 1400g of activated charcoal. This canister can absorb approximately 560g of anaesthetic agents. Regular weighing of your canister will indicate how much anaesthetic agent has been absorbed. The canister is attached to the APL valve on the anaesthetic machine. Replacement activated charcoal can be purchased.

It is supplied with 1.2 m of scavenging pipe and a scavenger connector for a standard POP-off valve.
